Viewermax gives you unlimited access to various good books including Before I Forget. You don’t remember for what you came into your room. This happens often with disturbing frequency. Losing house keys or forgetting your glasses really bothers when you start ageing because you do not understand if this is normal or there is something else. In the book “Before I Forget” by B. Smith & Dan Gasby with Michael Shnayerson, the problem is not only yours. Being a model, B.Smith was really active for the most of her life. She had her own TV shows, household goods, and restaurants of which Dan Gasby, her husband, was the co-owner. She was popular for her elegance and fashion sense.

But, a few years later, some uncharacteristic things started happening: she started showing emotional outbursts, would often use inappropriate language, her memory started fading, and her style sense faltered. She had mild-stage Alzheimer’s. Gasby took charge and did his research. Learning the facts may be empowering, but cannot make dealing with the problem easier. Smith started losing things constantly. She shut her friends out emotionally and family physically. The things started getting worse and Smith was put in a dangerous situation. The family tried to do all they could, but Alzheimer’s cannot be cured. It can only be managed. They would just learn to deal with these day-to-day challenges and cope with it.
